A Panda Tea Set for the Road

An ivory-toned ceramic travel tea set from Jingdezhen, with three cups that nest inside the teapot and a choice of two fixed carrying-case configurations.

Made in Jingdezhen, this ivory-toned ceramic travel tea set pairs one covered teapot with three cups and a quiet panda-and-bamboo motif. Choose one of two fixed configurations: a pale blue square case, or a brown case with an additional tea caddy.

Two Fixed Sets, Clearly Defined

Both configurations include the same teapot and three cups. The difference is the carrying case—and whether a separate tea caddy is included.

03 · Packing

Three Cups, Nested Inside

The three cups nest together and fit inside the teapot. The packed teapot then sits inside its corresponding case; the brown-case configuration also holds its separate tea caddy.

Panda Among the Bamboo

Black-and-white pandas sit among green bamboo and pale blue-gray landscape details. Warm brown rims and lid knobs frame the ivory-toned ceramic forms.

How Crackle Lines Form

In crackle-glazed ceramics, fine lines form when the glaze and ceramic body contract at different rates as they cool. With use, some lines may become more visible as colored liquids settle into the network. The appearance and degree of change vary by piece and use.
