Handmade Jingdezhen Wood-Fired Ash Glaze Teapot

Designed for quiet tea breaks at home, at the office, or with one or two guests, this compact ceramic teapot is ideal for tea drinkers who appreciate Chinese tea culture, handmade ceramics, and naturally varied glaze surfaces. Its approximately 150 ml capacity supports short, repeated infusions without taking up much space on the table.

Each teapot is wood-fired at approximately 1,300–1,350°C (2,372–2,462°F). During firing, the ash glaze develops layered amber-gold, warm brown, and blue-black tones. The short straight spout and built-in multi-hole strainer help keep loose leaves in the pot while pouring, while the ring handle is easy to hold in everyday use.

Unlike mass-produced ceramic teapots with uniform finishes, each handmade piece carries slight variations in color, speckling, and texture. It combines a practical size for solo drinking or sharing a few cups with the individual character of a wood-fired object, making it a distinctive addition to a tea table or a thoughtful gift.
