Product Description

Plum, Orchid, Bamboo and Chrysanthemum are collectively known as the “Four Gentlemen” in East Asian art and are often associated with resilience, quiet grace, integrity and composure. The four botanical motifs are hand-painted in cobalt blue on the porcelain-white cup surfaces. Each cup has its own composition, while the shared form and blue-and-white palette unite the complete set.

Each cup holds approximately 60 ml, a size suited to repeated gongfu tea infusions and attentive tasting, while allowing four people to share the same brew. The complete set comes with a deep indigo gift box, suitable for everyday hosting and as a tea gift for tea lovers, housewarmings or weddings.
