Product Description

This three-piece gaiwan consists of a lid, bowl and saucer. Its wide opening makes it easy to add tea and observe the leaves, while adjusting the gap between the lid and bowl helps control the pour.

The vessel takes an upright Ma Ti form, gently narrowing toward the base with an outward-flared rim. Blue lotus and botanical brushwork unfold across the white porcelain, with the decoration on the lid and bowl echoing one another when the gaiwan is opened or closed.

With an approximate capacity of 180 ml, it is suited to everyday gongfu tea, a quiet solo session, or tea shared across two small cups. Natural variations in line weight, depth of blue and motif placement reflect the hand-painted process.
